Hi, I'm Yating Chatiron, a Senior Software Engineer over 17 years of experience in full-stack development, DevOps, and cloud technologies. I specialize in e-commerce, performance optimization, security, blockchain, and AI. I’m passionate about building scalable solutions and integrating security into the DevOps lifecycle.
An Atypical Journey
🎓 I began my studies in civil engineering in Taiwan before shifting to graphic design.
🇺🇸 I then spent 5 years in Boston, USA, working as a designer. That’s where everything changed: while automating creative tasks, I discovered programming.
💻 What started as a tool quickly became a passion. I amassed 10 years of experience in software development before naturally transitioning into DevOps.
🇫🇷 Now based in France, a pivotal event—being the victim of cyberattacks—led me to specialize in cybersecurity to better understand and prevent such threats.
✍️ Today, I share my expertise through blogs on cybersecurity and DevOps, with the goal of informing, raising awareness, and giving back.
My journey across Taiwan, the United States, and France has given me a global perspective, strong adaptability, and intercultural insight that I apply every day in my work.

Tech Lead & DevOps Engineer – Fortil
October 2025 – Present
- Technical lead across dev, infra, and ops teams on a multi-application health platform (28+ sites); drove architecture decisions on GitOps strategy, secrets management, and deployment pipelines.
- Built a full GitOps CI/CD chain (GitHub Actions, Helm, ArgoCD, Vault, Harbor), replacing manual deployments and integrating shift-left security scanners (Prisma, Trivy, CVE).
- Debugged RabbitMQ deadlocks on a multi-component stack (Node-RED + Workers + Go connector); refactored the Go connector with a replay and business-comparison system over ~1M rows.
- Reduced Kubernetes Job migration time from several hours to under 10 minutes; refactored cron jobs across 5 microservices (TypeScript/Next.js), cutting processing time from 8h to 1h.
- Deployed Grafana/RabbitMQ dashboards and N1/N2/N3 alerting across 28+ sites, replacing PRTG with a more flexible open-source solution.
- Established coding standards, code review processes, and Blue/Green deployment with instant rollback and automated backups.
